Journeyman Lineman
Are you an energetic, safety-minded individual eager to use your skills to construct and maintain our electric distribution and fiber-optic infrastructure? PPCS seeks a journeyman lineman who will prioritize safe working conditions and teamwork.
PPCS is located in Ellsworth, a village of approximately 3,300 residents and the county seat of Pierce County. Ellsworth combines a rural lifestyle with access to the advantages of a big city. With the Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, just 40 miles away, residents have easy access to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, professional sports teams, shopping, restaurants, theatre, and museums. The local area boasts beautiful landscapes and scenery. Recreational options include the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers, state and local parks, hiking, biking, and snowmobile trails. Excellent educational facilities are close by, with the University of Wisconsin-River Falls just 15 miles away, the University of Wisconsin-Stout 40 miles away, and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities 50 miles away. Nearby River Falls also provides exceptional technical training through Chippewa Valley Technical College.
